Leadership Board System

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB Leadership is organized in a diverse multidiciplinary international Board System under the lead of the President and the Chairs of the Medical Board (15), the Advisory Board (15), the Board of Experts (50), the Board of Young Leaders (150) and the Board of Ambassadors (150). Additionally THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB is supported by the Leadership of the Board of Trustees (5 to 15).

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB Leadership Board System is following the Neuroleadership-Experience for sustainable acting and synapting Board-Systems based on the knowledge of the Dunbar-Numbers 150-50-15-5 to achieve Tipping-Points for Medicine 4.0 and One Health to create the Medici Effect together.

The Task of the Leadership Board System is to jointly achieve the main goals of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB:

  • Executive support for the next-generation Executive  Leadership and next-generation Entrepreneurship Leaders by building and running THE HEALTH CAPTAINS COLLEGE as independent “silo free” Leadership Academy starting 2022.
  • Innovation and Technology Transfer
  • Sustainable Healthcare as competitive factor for Regions and Metropols.

The longterm goals of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB are:

  • LEADERSHIP FOR EXPLORING SUSTAINABLE HEALTH.
  • NAVIGATING TOGETHER TOWARDS HEALTHY LONGEVITY – BLUE ZONES – ONE HEALTH.

The Leadership and all Members, Speakers and Partners of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB are expected to follow our CODE OF CONDUCT:

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB is an non-for-profit independent international multi- professional, multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder „silo-free“ membership-platform of “RÜNJHAID! Freundeskreis der nordfriesischen Seefahrerinseln Föhr, Amrum, der Halligen, Sylt, der Insel Kos und der Medicinale e.V.”

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB is orchestrated by it`s Members, the Board of Trustees, the Medical Board, the Advisory Board, the Board of Experts, the Ambassadors, the Board of Young Leaders and invited Guests to support as Circle of Friends and Professionals as “Concerned Citizens” and “Scientific Citizens” in the Hippocratic Tradition of a “Club of Cos”.

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB is bringing the World of Medicine once a year together in Berlin (“The International Perspective”), Heidelberg (“The European Perspective”) and  the Island Cycle Föhr, Amrum, Sylt (Leadership – Entrepreneurship – Breakthrough Alliances powered by Philanthropy) in synchronization with the Health Sciences Leadership for Europe and beyond and as Network-, Eco-System- and Alliance-Builder to transform the patient ecosystem towards sustained innovation in order to create, deliver and capture value to each and every key stakeholder of the HEALTH 4.0 & Ecosystem towards ONE HEALTH.

The vision behind this membership-platform is to improve „Value for the Patient, Value for the Civil Society and a sustainable synchronized Framework of International Economics for value-based Healthcare and One Health„.

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM is held in complete academic freedom and independence. It strives to improve the health of all people, all over the world – regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, mental or physical disabilities, appearance or skin color, or national/religious/social background.

RESPECT

It is our principle to treat everyone with respect and consideration, to communicate openly and thoughtfully with others, and to be considerate of the multitude of views and opinions that are different than our own. We do not permit any form of harassment, intimidation or discrimination, nor do we accept physical or verbal abuse.

Corruption or bribery in any form will not be tolerated. This applies to all members, employees, business partners, suppliers, distributors, and sales agents.

SUSTAINABILITY

As a conscious and sustainable non-for-profit membership-platform we pay special attention to resource-conserving practices in everything we do. That includes e.g. setting off carbon emissions from speakers’ flights to THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB Events, to SÜNJHAID! The Health Captains on Föhr Island and Kos Island and environmentally conscious printing.

PARTICIPATION

We call on representatives from every health-related sector to actively participate as member in THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB and contribute their expertise.

DISABILITIES

We support the active inclusion and full participation of disabled people in society, in line with the EU human rights approach to disability issues. Disability is a rights issue and not a matter of discretion. THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB will always be accessible to participants with disabilities.
